Currently accepting new clients -- Oregon residents only

In addition to this site, I'm also a Licensed Professional Counselor, and Supervisor for Associates in the state of Oregon.  I offer individual and couples therapy to Oregon residents via telehealth.

About me

I am born and raised in the PNW and live with my partner and our two daughters. I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College and have been in private practice since 2012. I work with adults and couples navigating life's transitions, mental health challenges like depression and anxiety, and anyone simply looking for a safe, open space to breathe and be heard.

I hold an Oregon Licensed Professional Counselor license (#C4122) and abide by its Code of Ethics. I understand how social injustices affect each of us in a number of different ways.

My Approach

Making the decision to see a counselor can feel intimidating and overwhelming. I will work with you at a pace that meets your needs and comfort level — because finding the right therapist is 90% of the work. It's vital that we both feel comfortable working together in order to get the full benefit of therapy.

During our first session, I'll answer any questions you have and give you a sense of what our work together will look like. We'll talk about what brought you in and what your hopes are, and I'll share some ideas for how we can work toward your goals. My aim is to support you in finding balance while helping you connect with your authentic self.

Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy

Let's be honest — even the best relationships need a tune-up every now and then. Whether you're working through communication breakdowns or something more serious, I'll support you in having the difficult conversations and help you notice the emotions underneath — anger, sadness, fear, shame — and learn to communicate them in ways that build security, validation, and warmth.

I have completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and primarily use this approach with couples. What makes Gottman Method different is that it begins with a full assessment of your relationship, which guides our treatment plan together.

The Relationship Assessment

The Gottman Relationship Checkup is a clinical tool created by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. Typically completed by the couple after the first session, it automatically scores your relationship's strengths and challenges and provides personalized feedback for effective intervention. After you complete it, we'll review the results together in a feedback session and build your personalized therapy plan. Learn more here.
